Pamodzi Creatives presents
The Ubuntu Afternoon Tea Party
Date to be confirmed
About this event
The Ubuntu Afternoon Tea Party is an annual celebration all those nominated for the Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards.
Inspired by the ancient African philosophy of Ubuntu — “I am because we are” — the event celebrates the power of community and the importance of recognising and uplifting one another.
Every nomination begins with someone taking the time to acknowledge another person’s positive impact. Whether through kindness, creativity, leadership, resilience, or service, each nominee has inspired those around them.
This spirit of recognising and celebrating others is Ubuntu in action.
Date of next event : Sunday 7 February
